The Economics Program provides students with a theoretical economics foundation along with statistical training that prepares them to think analytically to solve complex problems and to recognize the human behavior component of economics as a social science. Our associate degrees in economics and applied financial economics are designed for direct transfer to a four-year institution. Upon completion of a bachelor’s or doctoral degree, students can pursue careers such as budget analysts, loan officers, economists and statisticians.

These and other careers related to economics typically require a more advanced degree.
